The River Report
After almost a month of fishing season we have found several interesting isssues: the water levels are not equal in all the rivers; the highest level is found in the Aluminé river, Chimehuin is normal for this time of the season; Caleufu is below historical level.
Fishing has been good, specially upper Malleo and channels of the Collon Cura River. The Traful is producing well but is very high.
Lakes are good mainly Filo Hua Hum.
Catch and Release Policy
Much of the water we fish is regulated fly-fishing only with strict catch and release policies. Therefore, all fish are released with the exception of those taken to eat on float trips; no killing of fish is permitted for take home or as a trophy. We will gladly help take pictures and measurements of any fish for an artificial reproduction. If you are interested in spin fishing please let us know in advance so that special arrangements can be made.
