The Limay offers great day-trip floating based out of Bariloche. The river is long enough for four days of floats over different water. It is the size of the Yellowstone and very wadeable. Distance keeps the Limay from the top of our list, but it is worth the trip for the chance at a BIG Brown.
Plans are being finalized for float trip/accommodation on the lower Limay below Alicura Dam. Here there are huge Browns, but access is non-existent. We hope to have an answer to this soon.
